I have always enjoyed whittling, but started doing it more when I injured my arm for a second time. Carving became good therapy not only mentally but also as therapy to strengthen my arm. After losing my job due to my injury, and with encouragement from family, I decided to try turning some of my creations into jewelry. From there I started making wooden utensils and other products. My brother decided to try to turn some bowls to help out and thus began our business, Dutch Cove Carvings. Feel free to message us anytime if we can help you with an order. We have regular serving/cooking spoons, slotted spoons, 2 kinds of spatulas, meat choppers, jelly spreaders, letter openers, and different sized bowls to meet your needs. We also sell other various items such as paddle balls, crochet creations, and Christmas ornaments. All products intended for food consumption are sealed with a food safe conditioner and/or sealer.
